iONE Intelligence
The decisions live outside the house, so the house does not need a brain of its own.
It reads the weather forecast, the household’s own consumption pattern and the price of electricity, then decides when the battery charges, when water is heated and how heating and cooling are staged. It reaches every component over a single data link and keeps working on the last plan it issued if that link drops. Room set-points are an input to the decision, never a variable in it.
Signals it reads: Temperatures · Compressor performance · Water flow · Electricity consumption · Battery status · Operating modes · Weather forecast · Tariff signals · Fault and maintenance data
Grid
A supplier of last resort rather than the default one.
The house takes from the grid only what the roof and the battery cannot cover, and it sends nothing back: production goes to the house first, then into storage, and the inverter throttles once storage is full. The connection therefore stays an ordinary consumption point, and the yield calculation never depends on a feed-in tariff somebody can change.
Key data: Three-phase connection · Import only · No export, no feed-in dependency
Solar panels
Sized to the roof you have, not to a national average.
Modules of 720 W laid out across the surfaces the configurator derives from the shape, orientation and pitch of the building. Annual yield is calculated for each surface separately from PVGIS data for the postcode, so an east–west roof is not sold as if it faced south. Where the array would produce more than the house and battery can absorb, the configurator says so instead of quietly adding panels.
Key data: 720 W per module · Yield per surface, PVGIS · 0 % VAT under §12 (3) UStG
iONE Core
Four devices in one enclosure — which is why it is not called a battery.
Battery, hybrid inverter, MPPT solar charge controller and the controller itself share one housing, one commissioning and one warranty conversation. 32 kWh of LFP cells behind a three-phase 12 kW inverter is enough to carry a day of household and heat-pump consumption out of the expensive hours. Because the MPPT is already inside, panels connect straight to it — no second inverter and no rewiring when solar is added later.
Key data: 32 kWh usable, LFP · 314 Ah prismatic cells · 12 kW inverter, three-phase · MPPT integrated · 0 % VAT when supplied with PV
Heat pump
Sized to the building’s calculated load, not to the boiler it replaces.
A modulating DC-inverter monoblock on propane, three-phase, outdoors. It runs at the lowest flow temperature the emitters allow — about 35 °C on underfloor circuits, higher where radiators stay — because every degree of flow temperature is paid for in efficiency, and the seasonal figures in your estimate are taken from the model actually selected rather than from a brochure average.
Key data: R290 propane, natural refrigerant · Monoblock, DC inverter · 380–420 V / 50 Hz / three-phase · Four output classes, 6.6–12.7 kW · Earns the BEG efficiency bonus
Integral hydronic tank
The plant room arrives as one cabinet.
Pumps, valves, sensors and the controller that decides which circuit receives the heat come pre-assembled and pre-wired. On site the work is connecting pipes and a cable rather than building a hydraulic scheme from parts, which is what makes the next installation the same as the last one — and what makes a fixed installation price possible at all.
Key data: CGH-06HR150 · CAREL controller · Pre-assembled, pre-wired
Thermal storage
Heat made when electricity is cheap, spent when the house asks for it.
A 200-litre buffer sits between the heat pump and the heating circuits at about 45 °C. It lets the pump run while the sun is on the roof or the price is low and the house draw hours later, and it decouples the pump from the circuits so the compressor does not short-cycle when the heat demand is small — short cycling being what wears a compressor out long before its hours are up.
Key data: 200 l · ≈ 45 °C · Charged by the heat pump only
Hot-water tank
A shower that works, on a schedule the system chooses.
Domestic hot water is stored apart from the heating buffer and held higher, so the hygiene cycle can run at the temperature the standard requires and a full bath does not empty the heating side. When the tank is reheated is the system’s decision: normally on solar surplus, otherwise in the cheapest hours before morning.
Key data: ≈ 50 °C stored · ≈ 40 °C at the tap · Reheated on surplus or on price
Heating and cooling
The circuit that heats in winter cools in summer.
Underfloor circuits and fan coils do both; radiators can only heat, because a cooled radiator condenses onto the floor. Fan coils are the only emitter we supply — where a house already has underfloor heating or radiators we connect to what is there rather than rebuilding it, and the configurator asks which case you are in before it prices anything.
Key data: Fan coils supplied by us · Existing circuits connected as they are · Radiators heat only · Set-points per room, per season
Dynamic electricity tariffs
The price becomes a schedule instead of a surprise at the end of the month.
On an hourly tariff the operating layer moves the flexible loads — battery charging, hot water, the buffer — into the cheap hours and out of the expensive ones. What is not flexible stays where it is. Comfort is not the adjustable part of the bill.
Key data: Hourly price signal · Flexible loads shifted · Set-points never traded
App
One screen for the whole house.
Set-points room by room, what the system is doing at this moment and why, and the month so far measured against the estimate you were given. The app talks to the operating layer rather than to the equipment, so the house behaves the same way whether anyone is watching it or not.
Key data: iOS and Android · Per-room set-points · Month against the estimate
Service and monitoring
The visit is planned before the house gets cold.
Every component reports to the operating layer, and the layer reports to the service company responsible for the site. Two kinds of message travel that link: what has failed, with the component and the address already attached, and what is about to fail — a compressor drawing more current than it did, a buffer losing heat faster than it did last winter.
Key data: Fault with component and address · Deviation caught before failure · Planned rather than emergency visits
Equipment · Cost · Payment
Thirteen questions. The model sizes the system, prices it from the catalogue and turns it into a monthly figure. Contact details come last, and only to keep the result.
The same calculation is available to software: GET https://ione.energy/v1/decide. Interface description: /openapi.json.
Indicative example. Final pricing depends on the building, installation requirements, financing approval, energy use and available public support.
